So on my more or less weekly scanning of Language Log I came across an interesting posting and accompanying video.
While LK and I generally resist posting You Tube videos in our blog, I think this one deserves an exception.

Your institution was clearly very advanced, mirm. We didn't have pelt vocabulary until second year... ("Su capa es muy hermosa, amiga." "Gracias, Paco, se hace de gatos negros.")
