B's Sister P and our niece and a friend of Sister P and her two boys have come to the islands for a 7-night inter-island cruise. They are cruising on our floor for an extra night or two on either end. They were here Friday and Saturday nights and then we dropped them off at their boat last night.
We took them to one of our farmers markets for their requisite moco loco (B and I had to sacrifice -- they only had five eggs left so we let the tourists have 'em). Moco locos are a good base for a day at the beach. Then Sunday we took them up to the falls where, believe it, we met another Mexican family. First time ever we've just happened upon anyone from Mexico.
We have a little difficulty with comida here as so many restaurants close between 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm. Sunday we called for take-away from our favorite Chinese restaurant at 1:45 and we had our big meal of the day at the apartment, eating out of white paper boxes off of paper luau trays.
It's been fun having them here so far. Good thing, too: they'll be back on Sunday for two more nights!
