So I was doing my dutiful best a couple of months ago -- when I thought I was going to finish up my work at the Center -- to finally design my business cards. I did some preliminary designs and did some market research (i.e., had my family vote) and had almost settled on a design. But I was still waffling and didn't go ahead with printing. (Besides, my contract was extended, so I wasn't in self-promotion mode anymore.)Last week, my boss comes in with these great new sandals. She slips one off, and there, on the footbed of the shoe, is my G.
Upon further examination, it isn't really exactly the same. But it was still, well, unsettling.Oh well. I'd been working on another design anyway....

I think pics in the silve lame jumpsuits are in order. Glad you are getting work done - business card designs count as work right?
Aargh - I can spell really (not). Silver! But I don't know how to do accent marks on comments
Well, maybe we'll get that jumpsuit photo done for self-portrait tuesday...
The html tags that can be used in the comment fields is limited, but I just tried it and the accent codes can be used here (example: lamé).
i love the "g." don't get too stressed about it. designing my own logo was the most difficult one i ever did. i ended up settling into what i really wanted a year after we had been running the business. i sort of relaxed enough to let it be. then had to change everything over to the new, fun. check out http://laughingsquid.com/gimme-the-mermaid/ if you wanna see some copyright in action.
